VITRA
furniture for office, institution and public spaces
VITRA is a family-owned company. They not only make furniture and create retail environments, but Vitra also runs its own Campus in Weil am Rhein - in buildings made by internationally leading architects. VITRA was founded by Willi and Erika Fehlbaum in 1957. They started with the licensed production of furniture from the Herman Miller Collection for the European market - primarily designs by Charles and Ray Eames.
dedicated to seating
For decades VITRA is dedicated to seating, office interiors, and store design. This naturally includes seating solutions for public spaces – resulting from the fact that VITRA had production under license of the waiting area seating system Eames Tandem since 1962. Public institutions, airports, and private companies took the chance to furnish waiting zones and conference rooms. Employees, visitors, and passengers benefited from this international cooperation that time and the expertise VITRA has gained out of it.
dedicated to store design
For more than 80 years now VITRA offers interior solutions and shop outfit to raise quality and design in the retail segment.
